My Council only grit the main roads and some access roads to the bigger housing estates.
My main concern are the idiots who drive exactly the same way in the wet, snow, frost, as they would do in the dry with no thought of the conditions.

As long as the money goes into Tourist information or similar tourist projects or maybe street cleaning, and maintenance.
But as these things go I would very much doubt it.
