My cat has his ear clipped the same way. They told us when we adopted him thats what they do with city stray city cats when they've done the catch and release spay and neuter so that they know they did that cat already. Maybe farmers do the same thing?

If I may paraphrase the fullest existing explanation of the balk, "You can't just be up there and just doin' a LBW like that"

We really have no idea if this is a good or bad idea until we know what else happens over the next 3 months but we all have to have opinions right now. FWIW, I have to assume that this means our lineup is going to look a lot different by opening day

I was there the night he made that catch against the Dodgers and I was happy that he resigned but I’m not too sad to lose him. I wish him the best in Texas and I hope the warmer weather is kind on his foot

I may be a complete idiot but this is the first thing that came to mind. David Stearns almost certainly has not given this a single thought though. Just one more reason why he and I are not the same

We’re going to need a new lead off image. Get to work! 😂

Having gone to bed at the lunch interval last night, I had to go in for a second rub of the eyes when checking how the rest of the day had played out. No idea what was happening since the pitch looked fine

This business about none of the teams getting to play games in their "home" city is crazy to me. How can a connection or fanbase be built? They're asking me to support "New York" but what makes them any more the New York team than any of the others if they have zero routes and connection here?

Don’t forget avoiding answering any call from a number not owned by a blood relative because anything else is 99% likely to be an ad/scam. Good times!

The snotty mask is an unpleasant place

Honestly, this was an underrated benefit of the mask times

Once more I find myself living through “if baseball man wears a different hat, I will be sad” and I don’t know why I let it happen every year but here we are again. See also Peter Morgan Alonso

Just out of frame, the lines are long and restless as the people await opening time at the A's club store
November 10, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Right. We don’t need that vibe

Its that time of year where people get to doom over Syracuse bench players. Whatever keeps them entertained, I guess. Having said that, I don't want this guy anywhere near the organization, thanks

He just got done with adding base stealing, give him a minute to learn a slider and he can get on to this next year. So maybe around the All Star break?

Seriously. First game of the series then let’s get on with it

After a summer of job interviews, can confirm this is already a standard area of enquiry. Although with a different expectation than you have, I think 😄

Amazing to me that the Feds never charged Tony Soprano with misleadingly calling Christopher his nephew. Everyone else went along with it too so I believe that makes it a RICO case
