Proud Canberran, Retired, former Australian Commonwealth employee, former senior information technology executive. Grew up in Moree, went to what the Daily Telegraph described as the toughest school in NSW, Courallie High. Geophysics at UNE Armidale.
I watched #insiders for the first time in a long time. Disgraceful bias, Labor just handed the LNP its arse on a plate and the focus is on issues with Labor. #insiders is dead to me. Just really poor journalism and analysis.

Yep, loved lockdowns, spent so much more time with our late teen kids. Not sure they would necessarily agree though.

The cost of living “crisis” was caused by corporations gouging to recoup profits lost during the pandemic.

I despair some times for Australia and how people are willing to vote against their own best interest and are swayed by culture war BS.

This book should be mandatory reading for every public servant and for that matter businesses that deal with human beings.

The personal stories about suicides in the book weigh on my mind. Thank you for telling their stories.

Just read your book. Congratulations, a masterpiece of research and communication. I truely had no idea how bad it was. That APS4 that wrote to the secretary is a hero.
Having said that I was part of the APS at the time (not DHS) and can see how desire to please ministers over all else can occur.

This is a tragic wake up call to all Australians that this could be us. Real action on climate change is required now.

Agree, these guys seem too crazy even for One Nation to support. LOL.

I would love to know if there is any Advance Australia, IPA or One Nation money flowing to these fringe groups.

These guys seem particularly nuts. Might stop by for a laugh.

The issue though is how do progressive left of centre parties communicate their message to the "un-eductated".

The inability of parties like the Democrats to counter the Murdoch led propaganda to working class voters needs to be addressed rather than simply calling these people "dumb".
