Welsh dark night skies are so much better and more alike to what I remember them to be before too much light pollution came along. Orion, Jupiter, Aldebaran and Pleiades. Classic Winter sky. 🌌

Cracker and dad joke time: I guess you could say we’re “sprucing” the place up? Nordmann firs smells amazing! 🌲🎄

Good morning! A benefit of (nearly) Winter in the UK. Late dawns and low sun paints the sky as you get ready for work.

Holly says welcome back. I reckon she’d be good at attacking tech debt given how long her toys last 😅

There’s no real #detailing content on here! I tried Feynlab rinseless for the first time today. Usual snow foam phase with Bilt Hamber Touch-less, then a small dash of Feynlab in the soap bucket, followed wipe off with a drying towel. Really quick and easy. Good results, our cars were filthy before.

@carpervert.bsky.social any chance you can use Bluesky now that you’ve quit Twitter today? Here’s a picture of a nice GSA in Hinckley for no other reason.

That's has and always will be their MO ;-) Latter-shaped Beetle were always a bit tubby and under-powered vs everything else, but what new car looks like them these days? That's the attraction. I wouldn't mind some red and chrome on a late model e.g. >

Yesterday's unsettled, changeable UK weather in 3 parts. Sunny and common Leicestershire Great White butterfly. Cumulus clouds building. A downpour of large hail from those now towering and thundering cumulonimbus clouds #ukweather #weather #butterfly #hail #clouds #cloudappreciationsociety

Storm #babet. True enough, nice weather for dogs. I got to wash the mud of my boots, but alas, the back lawn is now waterlogged leading to muddy pawprints in the house. A mere quibble versus those lives severely affected by flooding in the UK this weekend.

The weather in the UK is unusually warm and sunny with temps 20degC plus in October. There are insects everywhere. I've spotted the cause. Ivy flowers in our hedge. The ivy bees and red admiral butterflies love them. So much of local agriculture affects our insect populations, so this is nice to see

Autumn has finally arrived in the UK with tree leaves turning colour and falling to the ground. Mushrooms (a frilly inkcap here) are sprouting in the fields @discovery.bsky.social
