A glorious day! Yesterday, I was ordained priest at Bristol Cathedral. Wonderful to be surrounded by so many wonderful friends and my parents. Honoured that the priest who brought me to faith was one of those who took part in the laying on of hands.

My little wildflower patch in the garden is looking rather lovely and colourful! Lots of bees around today enjoying these and the lavender #wildflowers #garden

Good to be at @bristolcathedral.bsky.social last night for the talk about the organ restoration - and to get to listen to it being played for the first time - can’t wait to hear it in all its glory!

Over the past month I’ve had some work done on my garden and have been pottering around creating some bits with the help of friends. My little oasis in the hustle and bustle of life.

Garden slowly coming along following some recent repairs needed to the pond - and lovely to see some spring colour too.

Been in London at an insurance conference today in Westminster - but lovely to end the day at Westminster Abbey for choral evensong. Much needed after a busy day.

Love having my Lego model of Notre Dame lit up in my study while writing my next sermon. I have been decorating this room over the last few weeks and it’s become such a nice space to work and reflect in.

Great conversations this evening at our Thursday Faith Talk - our favourite Bible verses and why they’re important to us. Interesting to see how our own readings connected to others.

Lovely view out of the office window earlier this week. Love the pastel colours of the sky.

Spring is on its way. Snowdrops all around the churchyard at St Mary’s Lydiard Tregoze. A sign that life is springing once again. #snowdrops #spring #seasons #change #newlife #flowers #church #lydiardpark #lydiardtregoze #churchofengland #dioceseofbristol #churchyard

Excellent day of cathedral day chaplain duty yesterday. Really busy, good conversations with visitors, well-sung choral evensong with the choir of Christ Church Swindon. Also an unexpected catch up with the priest who ignited my faith as a teenager who popped in for some quiet which made the day!

One of the great things about coming into the office is seeing the sunrise over Liddington Hill at this time of year. This was taken this morning from Unity Place in the centre of Swindon #sunrise #swindon
