Greens into 2nd place 📈

Labour vote down ⬇️ by 25% with majority of residents clearly not wanting another Lab councillor

A busy weekend. Cllr surgery at Crosby Library on Saturday and then today our monthly Waterloo litter pick led by your local Green Party campaigners, Sam and Kieran

We started on South Road and knowing how busy the beach has been this week headed toward the sandunes, and filled nearly 10 bags....☹️

Done a quick check at lunchtime around South Road area and ended up reporting 5 seperate incidents of flytipping on Dean St and Cross St. 😡

Important updates on the need to reduce air pollution. An important issue for Sefton

Today I have written to our local Members of Parliament and the Labour leader of Sefton council Marion Atkinson to express my strong opposition to government plans to reduce/cut Personal Independence Payments and calling on them to oppose these plans.

At last nights council budget meeting I voted against the Labour budget for 2025/26. In terms of council tax, residents will see another 4.99% increase from this year. This will place an unfair burden on residents, many of whom are already struggling with the cost of living crises.

Attended the community and volunteer workshop at Bootle Town Hall last night for the Sefton Coast Nature Conservation Strategy 🌳🌍

We're so lucky to have the Sefton coast right on our doorstep but it faces many challenges.
