Its a fair point and correct as tristis now known to have variable plumage which includes the form previously known as fulvescens… I still understood these readily identifiable fulvescens to be the western cline of Sibe Chiff, but apparently they are all currently just integrated into tristis 👍

Hi Annie - the bill on that bird looks remarkably straight for a RT Diver and it has a white flank patch.

Pleased for you mate!! Not cold here either but just a lack of birds - November is usually better than October for us, so hoping we get some nice migrants weather and birds 🤞🤞🤞. I would imagine we'll get another wheatear yet too. Maybe tomorrow will be the day mate 😀
