I am curious if we’ll ever get the background as to how the targets were set and the transfers agreed, given that Slot was expressly set out as the coach and not the manager.

It is hugely confusing - Good Vibrations even doesn't use a traditional theremin ;-)

I think Slot has to win the next ten games 5-0 to save his job - though I haven't seen any coverage of either Van Bronkhorst's role or (as Slot was clearly made out to be the coach) the transfer committee. It's a good question - if a caretaker is more likely... then who?

It does feel messy, but not necessarily problematic - with Nunez, Dias, and (sadly) Jota gone, signing two great forwards seems like it can be managed. The deal *has* to be done, though, and maybe Slot needs to balance his first 11 better, rather than picking more or less the same players each week.

This might be in the video, but I think this was done with Metasynth: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MetaSynth. It was pretty hard to take an image and get anything that sounded musical out of it, but that probably wasn’t the point.

Yup. The problem is that I don’t see anything with good wifi/remote alerts and decent battery life (or hadn’t), so it might be buying time - I hope those work well!

My Dad’s Nest has hit 10 years in the UK, and there’s no good replacement over there - I had to scramble to find one of the few new ones left on sale.
