I mean, it's got a ginger bread rat

We were admiring it last night. They really are fantastic

Highly recommend the Park Street Exotica next time you are in. Beautiful drink with a proper chilli kick to it

Still have my googlewhacked badge from one of his live shows at the time

Maybe they're using AI to summarise and it focuses on kidnap and cannibalism?

Missread as "The Clintons". Changed the context quite a bit

The Mac is close by, so I'll head there. Cheers!

Where can I pick a copy up in Brum? Would prefer a non-Amazon option. Heath bookshop maybe?

I think it has become so common, and there's so little enforcement, that people genuinely think it's fine. Oakfield is another road with abundant pavement parking

She will have been busy round there. It's normally chaos on the pavements

No sign of them this morning, though we did get 2 collections last week!

Agreed. If you have to go looking for signage then it's not doing its job. It's much more obvious coming down Salisbury Rd

I know there are some signs, and flashing pelicans, but you can't actually see the black and white crossing as you come up from the roundabout. It's not great
March 14, 2025 at 9:51 PM
Noticed that earlier too. I think people have been moving the barriers themselves. It would be funny if it wasn't dangerous

Thanks again
February 15, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Thank you. Ironically, it's currently more dangerous with plenty of people going to use it to get to the bus stops, but some cars stopping, some not.

I got the 15:25 flight from Belfast last month. Left bang on time and I was in New Street Station at 17:00. Nb - the Aer Lingus planes are very small and entrance is at the back, so always try and get a seat at the back of the plane for quick escape

Regular Aer Lingus flights from Belfast City to Brum, about an hour in the air, been reliable for me. Direct train from Birmingham International train station (it's part of the airport, but requires jumping on a free monorail) to New Street Station, then 35 minute train to Derby
