I'm disappointed that I already cancelled my NYTimes subscription since I don't have the option of cancelling it, today when the NYT prints dog whistle editorials like this.

No. While I jokingly referred to it as "child pornography" elsewhere, this really doesn't meet the legal bar (particularly, the intent does not appear to be lascivious).

He probably should've been shunned forevermore, though.

> ...because it would be such a nightmare to implement

Palantir is probably already writing an AI agent to monetize this change.

It'll hallucinate like it's mainlining random forest mushrooms but it'll make lots of money.

These are the same mouthbreathers who are talking about "beautiful clean coal". For them, being wasteful is a feature.

"This CVE covers the same vulnerability as in CVE-2025-54988..."

There should be a special hall of shame for "We didn't really do the due diligence to make sure we fixed it the first time" CVEs.

While I loathe the generative AI bubble with a passion that English can't fully describe, I think the headline overstates the facts (which appear to be that Microsoft cut quota _on one specific tool_ **that I've never heard of**). It's conceivable that it's just Foundry that's bad.
