Are you suggesting that the data found in the casey report does not merit more investigation and research into the possiblity that pakistanis are more likely to form grooming gangs?

your argument makes no sense because demographic data is how baroness casey even proved that the met was institutionally racist. If the police start discriminating against pakistanis for this crime we won't even be able to prove it if we don't have the data.

if the method gets good data about pakistanis when pakistanis are investigated it'll get good data about other groups when we investigate other groups. race blind prevention + accurate demographic data is the winning combination.

Like baroness casey said, there is enough evidence in the police data that she investigated to indicate that we need to start collecting more information to see if there is a problem.

I agree , there needs to be a comprehensive race blind preventative child safety programmes with social workers and teachers and coaches etc . But we still need to capture all kinds of demographic information when the defences fail and the police get involved, including ethnicity.

also at 4:12 she says the police "should be asking" for ethnicity data and bemoans that asking at that point might not be effective, at no point at all in the podcast does she imply or even state that the status quo of not recording ethnicity data well enough is good or effective.

I quoted you her part where even started speculating that the disproportiante portion of pakistani people in the casey report sample was only because they were in areas where people were investigating pakistani grooming gangs. She even agrees with casey that ethnic data should be collected.

That podcast was two people desperately coming up with hypotheticals and speculations(her word, not mine) in order to avoid dealing with the casey report. Collect the data so we can know what's going on. it's not a giant expenditure or labour effort to just fill out the existing forms correctly.

The only outcome that is served by not recording the info is allowing people to cover up child sex gangs, just like your fellow ideologues who tippexed pakistani off of child records and impeded investigations in order to protect pakistani criminals from the consequences of their actions.

What here contradict baroness' recommendation. even the people on this podcast said ethnicity should be recorded. Record the ethnicity and nationality. You can still do universal child protection while telling the cops they have to record demographic info.

I read the article,and I read the report where the same Baroness Casey, thinks it is very important to track ethnicity data moving forward so that the authorities can be better equipped to prevent child abuse. why are you willing to dismiss her expertise and accuse her of pandering to the far right.
