Was good to be at the AHA last weekend. Met old friends, browsed the book exhibit, presented my work and attended a powerful panel on Palestine.

Sharing a review of Daman Singh’s biography of her parents “Strictly Personal: Manmohan and Gursharan” published in the Tribune and remembering the graciousness and leadership of Manmohan Singh. Also, his wishes for India, from a panel in the new PM Museum at Teen Murti. Much kinder times.

This is a good time to share that I edited essays for a special issue of Asian Affairs that was published as an edited book by #Routledgehistory this year. Includes essays on #Partition and the war of 1971 to better understand debates on belonging and citizenship in #SouthAsia today.
