The articles I have read suggest it’s the tax silk who has recently given a different view to the advice she received. The whole set up sounds incredibly complicated because of the trust for her son.

I think the real question is whether she should have gone to a tax KC earlier. But that depends on what she was told initially of course.
It all sounds v messy.
