I painted this 1940s propaganda inspired poster for the wonderful @juicygarland.bsky.social!

Juicy's persona is a 1940s/1950s dame you'd find equally at home amongst the celebrities and starlets of the era and a seedy bar after punching fascists.

Got my headshots last week! Taylor Rossi did an incredible job capturing my vibe of "curious librarian kids ask for help researching their weird obsessions (who their dads all want to date)"

My quilt met the long arm quilting machine! All that remains is to hand stitch the binding.

Over the weekend, I went to the New Bedford Whaling Museum's 25-hour long Moby-Dick marathon. It was an incredible experience, and of course I brought my sketchbook.

Revisiting "Blackstar" (2/2)
September 12, 2024 at 8:34 PM
Back in 2018, I released my first proper collection of comics, "Hallo Spaceboy." I'm revisiting it, rewriting, redrawing, and adding to it.

Here is "Blackstar," the comic that initially closed out the book. (1/2)

I join the bespectacled in August. Apparently headlights aren't supposed to look like starbursts and you're supposed to be able to read signs? Who knew.

Surprising no one, I felt so much gender euphoria wearing my suit for the first time. I'm sorry to say that I am going to be a suit guy.

Friday's vampiric looks
October 29, 2023 at 8:16 PM
I found a truly incredible pair of velvet pants second hand, plus my flouncy AF shirt, so I decided to just say 'you know what? I'm going to just be a vampire this year.'

The longish blondish hair adds to my...vampiric charms.
