Son signos inequívocos de una dictadura acechante y represora. Se trata, sin duda, de una práctica que se registra en diferentes regiones del mundo con cierto nivel de gradualidad y con una preocupante intencionalidad, mientras los rebaños permanecen distraídos, totalmente enajenados, en los pedazos de fantasías y sueños que los gobernantes les dan en la carpa en la que son simples espectadores que aplauden, ríen y lloran ante la tragicomedia que les presentan. The 28-point peace plan that the United States and Russia want to impose on Ukraine and Europe is misnamed. It is not a peace plan. Nato a Filadelfia nel 1950, Steve McCurry ha studiato cinematografia alla Pennsylvania State University. Dopo la laurea ha lavorato come fotografo per un giornale locale. Dopo due anni se ne andò e con la sua macchina fotografica al seguito ha viaggiato in tutto il mondo.  “Se aspetti, le persone dimenticheranno la tua macchina fotografica e l’anima apparirà alla luce”.
