People mock VCs for valuing startups with no traction and no launch above startups with no traction but with a launch and some learning. But the VCs are systemically correct because of Monty Hall and follow-on rounds.
I made a browser extension called Gitcasso that adds syntax highlighting to GitHub comment boxes, just posted its github along with a making-of video to Show HN. Creating a YouTube thumbnail is uniquely embarassing, lol

Any reason I shouldn’t be 25% GLDM and 75% ISHG (1-3 Year International Treasury Bond ETF)? Equities seem asleep at the wheel, no?

Bill Hader: The best movie I saw this year was Flow. I’ve watched it now three times. It makes me want to get a cat (and I’m allergic to cats).

Why can't relativists agree on good and evil? They each observe morality bending differently around mass opinions. (via gpt-4.5)

1. ask LLM to summarize codebase into its implicit spec
2. ask LLM to generate codebase from the spec
3. version control the spec, treat the codebase as a compiled artifact

Has anybody tried building anything this way?
