It is expected that the North East Combined Authority will make announcements in due course for new strategic cultural provision which includes sport, tourism and creative industries.

Our new survey shows that after a decade of austerity for culture, a sample of 28 culture organisations in the NE have responded that they require capital development, building maintenance & repairs of over £75m

Many colleagues have highlighted the impact which "Pathways to Work" is likely to have on people with disabilities working in the cultural sector. Disability arts leaders have put a letter together -read and sign if you support the initiative.
