I actually spent the day making beef and bean balls. Added 1kg approx cooked, roughly mashed black beans (from 500g dry) to 650g beef burger along with a few eggs, oats and seasonings. Ended up with 125 balls, or 25 servings at $0.68/per serving. Will freeze most of them for quick easy meals.

Guys, guys...LOOK. My livingroom lettuce has already sprouted. They were planted just 3 days ago. Soon I will be free of the tyranny of big lettuce. Mwahaha 🤣🤣

Many vegetables will happily grow indoors. I grow cucumbers, bok choi, broccolini, lettuce, cilantro, green onions.
Bread is easy with the right recipe. I recommend Chainbaker on YouTube. He's got good easy recipes for beginners.

I have finally freed myself from the tyranny of big bread. I've managed to make every other kind of bread but was still buying hot dog buns. Finally figured out how to get the right balance of soft, squishy yet strong enough for condiments. Was yummy! #breadsky #homecooking 🍽

It has become clear that I really don't wanna peel 20kgs of carrots, so am procrastinating. In other news...look step 1 to bread is done. This is a whole wheat scald/yudane, with a block of yogurt portioned and pre- frozen to help it cool faster.
