More outside friends news: got RUSHED outta nowhere by this lady I'd never seen before on Saturday and kind of assumed she was a one-off but then @luxeinferior.bsky.social came over and was like "hey, there's a truly scrungulous beast out back acting like she lives here"

Current theory: it's this guy, who's VERY shy but I spotted going apeshit on the canned food I left out today. I've named him Arthur M. Anderson because he's the last one to accompany his companion who was lost in the storm (he was sitting in the garage with Nonads on Sunday when the rain started)

Rabies Cat update: still hanging around, starting to plump up a bit because all the neighbors are feeding him, and I had to change his name to No-Nads because someone TNR'd him.

I always have a great time cosplaying Dio but 99% my photos of him look like ass and this is the only one where you can kind of see the pocket flaps, i.e. the most difficult sewing I had done at the time (2018) and the second most fiddly sewing task I've ever done, period.

I have hit the bias tape-y part of making Drysdale but honestly, no matter how fiddly this gets, it'll still never be as fiddly of a bias tape project as Dio Fucking ZeroEscape 😅

Aside from being slightly more annoying to thread (it's upper looper only for a rolled hem), it's pretty painless to use! I did have to do a few swatches since it needs a bit higher tension but overall I like having another contrast binding option when my bias tape on hand is too wide

Update: still hate glue and only two neighbors stared at me wearing a respirator on the sidewalk but that wasn't too painful. With my luck it'll cure real weird, though. Worked on my and Washford's suspenders to regain my confidence.

It wasn't as obvious at the Cleveland show because we were further back but please take my word for it that Richard Butler looks strikingly similar to my mom
