Would it be possible to post the date and source for as many of these as possible. I assume this one is 1989?

Holy shit, that's beautiful. Thank you for making/sharing.

You’d have still got the Analogue 3D first, the M64 is months away.

This is so deeply cool. I can imagine making up the case for an accurate Playstation would be considerably more challenging than a Neptune.

They'll call up Ollie Bearman and shatter his dreams next.

Although they never did post a proper making of for Andor season 1, this makes me sad.

I've heard better things from those who've worked at EA than what I've heard from people involved with rockstar over the last 10+ years. After GTA5 shipped a huge number of leaders left the company, mostly not by choice. It's no surprise GTA6 has been a shitshow.

Call of Duty is basically just a worse version of Quake. And someone managed to port that into 13kb phoboslab.org/q1k3/

Kudos for making the bold choice Mike. The advantage of being your own boss and just making the changes you feel are necessary. Seeing Super Crate Box at the top of that list fills me with joy, love that thing. Hopefully see you on Saturday @ Crash.

I needed to go to London on Saturday for a gig. I'd usually take the train but I forgot to book early so for two it was almost £200 and the last train was at 22:30 (10min before the end of the gig). Ended up driving into central London, paid £21 for 12hr parking and my EV meant no ULEZ charge.

Hah, I feel like such a pioneer

I think there are a number of successful current shows without 'big names in them'. Instead they have big names behind the camera, often the writing and show runner. Folk like Ronald D. Moore or Vince Gilligan could pitch and make whatever the hell they wanted.

I do think that pattern is a lot more in common in TV than you're giving it credit for. Although the progression to more star vehicles is a product of the significantly higher budgets in TV now. A lot of 'prestige TV' now is genre stuff with high production values and often a star lowers the risk.

I'm not sure if I agree that Sopranos was a 'prestige piece of television' at the time. At least in the early days it was just part of HBO's suite of shows. The cast was littered with extremely proven actors from gangster movies like Goodfellas. They really helped establish the show's provenance.

Well, that's the best news I've heard all week.

I find this entirely unsurprising from the Olivers

Tickets booked already. This year's show was brilliant, looking forward to it. All the best Richard!

I'm most curious about what character you were playing as, if you can remember? If it was Eddy, I can almost empathise with him...

Listed as a 60min show. I assume (as per previous years) it's two recordings so double that?
