Another one is "we don't know what it's going to do" somehow means "improvisation". A machine also cannot "improvise", because to improvise you need to have an actual ability of discernment and free will, which machines do not have. They can only calculate and then choose or use randomization.

I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, either. If it used normal logic for CPU it would be fine. Why does genAI need to be involved? Too lazy to write scripts for what the NPCs say and give them actual character? You have to love that they always pretend that less work = more creative somehow.

This is false advertisement. They get the publicity and the people on their website, then screw over everyone who bought into it, then guilt people into thinking they should buy the game anyway for the increased value which they might not have to begin with.

True, we can't really say if it had a significant impact. Even among the people who were outraged, they were appeased pretty easily unfortunately. So they probably saw the movie anyway. But it was kind of a niche thing anyway since only people nerdy enough to watch D&D youtubers knew about it

D&D also had a huge controversy like 3 weeks before it released, too, and many fans boycotted the movie as a result.
