Started the day off right, finishing this book on Mucha and getting in some more painting.

Roughly 10 years apart! First image is the original illustration and second is the redraw I finished this year. I used the same pink color and kept most references from the original.

Original from ~2016 was hand inked on paper with a dip pen, flat color added digitally in Photoshop

I'm still getting used to working in Procreate on an iPad, but I like it! I use @truegrittexture.bsky.social ink brushes, which really help simulate the traditional feel I'm used to. I also keep traditional practices, like moving the iPad as if it were paper and limiting ctrl+z powers.
