Is there a lore reason behind this deflector design? I'm not a huge fan of it because the holo bits obscure the dish itself, but I'd love to know the "why" behind it.

I love these remasters! Any chance we can get before/after ortho images with these updates? I believe Thomas used to post them. I really enjoy looking at all the little details that changed.

If you get rid of the story arc on Kobali Prime, then what's the point of the conflict? That the Vaadwaur are just jerks? Their methods are extreme - but the story is the whole explanation for that. Moral dilemmas are the essence of Star Trek.

I wouldn't mind if New Romulus was adjusted to be like Nimbus, in that you could play the story content all the way through without having to progress through the reputation. As it stands now, I end doing NR in small sections at a time as a result - never the full experience.

Defera and Nukara are both kinda strange in that the story content of the game doesn't really lead you there - or explain much about them. Mechanic wise, Defera could especially use some updating. Last time I explored it I remember having trouble with those R&D type missions.

I appreciate the reply Bort! I'm not questioning if it is working as intended. My concern is that it is so different from similar ships. The T5 Siege Destroyer is from 2010 and so it's a result of it's time. I think having consistency with similar abilities would benefit players heavily.

Would it be possible to review this mechanic and maybe remove the Siege Mode cancel caused by firing the Javelin? Thank you!

The other lance ships that the T6 was bundled with don't require a mode change to use their lance weapon (Yamato, Kara). Veteran Destroyers don't cancel their mode switch on lotus activation. This makes the Siege Destroyer feel a bit cumbersome and likes it's at a disadvantage.

We also know that lying to Congress is an impeachable offense. They had no problem impeaching Clinton.

If Sci Carriers are getting SecDefs, which I agree with. I think that standard science vessels need a buff as well, maybe by giving Sensor Analysis a good update. The cooldown is long and it's ability is limited a single target. This buff shouldn't extend to Spearheads, Scouts, Destroyers, etc.

I'm curious about the red glowing bits that are recessed into the saucer. Are those the bussard collectors?
