Last weekend, Quakers had a table of stuff at Flea Market/Craft Fair at the fairgrounds. I had my eye an item to buy if did not sell. A footstool, $10 "for a project." It was perfect for me as-is. Right in line with my personal style , which I say is shabby chic, without the chic part.

I read this book, Rejoice: A Knife to the Heart, the week before I went to COP29. SciFi, but basically a liberal wish fulfillment fantasy. Benign aliens stop us from destroying our planet and prevent all physical violence. This bums many people out.. Kept popping in mind at the conference. #books
