The plotter had cut, the printer has printed, and I've been 3D modeling and cutting foam by hand.
I'm happy this week we have holidays in Spain so I can give this project a boost!

I got rid of my old filament 3D printer and I bought a second hand Anycubic Photon Mono X. I previously had a Photon Mono, but it was too small. I think I'm gonna make the most of my new printer for propmaking
as it's bigger and resing comes out smooth. No more sanding!

Trying the chrome vinyl wrap. I love it! And this is just with minimum detail. I still have to heat and define the reliefs thoroughly.
I'm super hyped with this project and I think I chose the right materials and techniques. Feeling good!

I'm running some more tests to take this texture to the limit, but right now I'm really happy with it. It involves some manual work after printing but I can totally forget about sanding and that makes it worth it.
Also, I guess spray painting will help me get rid of minor imperfections.
