How can you argue federal AV laws are good when at the state level we're seeing real pushback and even seeing AV legislation repealed/blocked?
They want you to think its a consensus, its inevitable.

Individual bills may fail but these legislators want to present the appearance of a unified push against sec 230/privacy rights
Its worth keeping perspective that not every bill is The End, but everytime they start yapping i think we do need to do our own yapping to counter their narrative!

I'm [NAME] and I am a constituent from [LOCATION]. I'm emailing you because I want to give my opinion on some bills that are currently being discussed in parliament. As a Canadian citizen, I want to urge [REPRESENTATIVE] to OPPOSE the following bills:
-Bill C-2
-Bill C-12
-Bill C-8
-Bill C-9
-Bill S-209
[You can either use the infographic to discuss issues with individual bills, or use the following more broad statement]
All 5 of these bills are completely untenable. As a whole, they would make Canada into a police state, and I believe that is a result that must be opposed at every level. They weaken Canadian's security while also reducing our privacy under greater surveillance. They also target some of the most vulnerable among us, immigrants and people seeking asylum from other nations, which I believe goes against Canada's strong identity as a mixing pot of cultures. And these bills also target citizen's right to protest in a manner that I find inexcusable, especially in the current political climate.
