P.S. I realise I've been inactive for a while, but that was precisely because I found the character limit here constricting; I had been thinking about making a new blog for months but only now finally acted on it.

And finally:
8) Insurgent (capacle.itch.io/insurgent) by Cezar Capacle. The idea of playing an insurgent seems interesting, and I also liked the layout of the pdf; it's clean, but also evocative.
This is only part of what the bundle has, so I'd encourage you to get it to also support a good cause.

7) Riftbreakers (blackoath.itch.io/riftbreakers) by Blackoath. The MMORPG setting seems pretty unique. It seems rather crunchy rules-wise though. In the bundle are also two more games from the creator, the grim, soulslike-ish Sacrifice, and its related wargame Warlord Ascendant.

6) Skyrealms (the-lost-bay.itch.io/skyrealms) by IKO. This seems like a pretty interesting and unique setting. And it includes a solo adventure too. In the bundle are also included two more minidungeon supplements, which could potentially be soloable as well.

5) Runecairn Wardensaga and its bestiary (byodinsbeardrpg.itch.io/runecairn-be...) By Odin's Beard RPG. I got the former from the Solo but Not Alone Bundle 5, but this bundle includes both it and its bestiary, which adds even more monsters and stuff, so that was a nice bonus.

4) QZ (jasontocci.itch.io/qz) by Jason Tocci. Looking at it, it has some pretty evocative tables for use with STALKER-like settings and stories. And I also like its illustrations quite a bit. I'm definitely going to use it when I play something with such a setting.

3) Hiria: the Eternal City (jimmyshelter.itch.io/hiria) by JimmyShelter. Its premise seems interesting, chasing someone over different versions of a city. I also listened to a podcast episode about it (from @techrovert.bsky.social 's podcast Your Story Will Be Different) which was pretty nifty.

And now stuff (not all of them necessarily solo) I haven't tried yet, but, leafing through them, look interesting:

2) Exploration Cycle (verdant-core.itch.io/exploration-...) by @verdantcore.bsky.social. This is a pretty good and simple hexcrawling procedure - in fact it's the only one that clicked with me. And it even includes rules for task resolution and combat, so that no other rpg system is needed to play.

1) Creation Myths (gothhoblin.itch.io/creation-myths) by @gothhoblin.me. This is a journaling game about a character on a journey; both are created by random prompts. In my playthrough, I got a pretty unique MC, and the resulting story was also one of my most memorable #solorpg experiences.

Great post. I'd also add that a major reason to try #solorpg is if you're someone who would normally be a player, but there's literally nobody else interested in #ttrpgs in your area, so you have to put the GM hat on as well if you want to play anything.
