I called last week for time of today but I could have gone to the hospital back weeks ago when it started.
Oddly I cleaned garage and barn, lots of yard and basement.
I bought a face cutter.

This is the cake I baked for my birthday. It was really good.
I had to change most of the sugar in the flour from sugar to Stevia.
We each had a piece today. I will have to freeze half for later.
Do you get how alone we are now?

Really we have done everything together for the last 20yrs. We went on trips until 2016. Then we stopped except for shopping and restaurants. Until our favorite one burned down.

I avoid standing in festive decoration areas so that I am not having attractions to me at those times.

The other day we had an incredible storm that cracked lightning all around us.
One brought bright shine into EVERY window all around our house. It's sound played seemingly immediately after.
It hit one of our 3 pine trees. I have always listened to the breeze speak to me as it passed through them.

No. The township only gets republicans in. 2 mayor's since 1999. 3 of the others been retired (1 died since) so in 25 years we've had 8 in all the time.

I was playing the organ at our church for a wedding of the daughter of our regular organist.
Usually I played the piano but filled in when Sara was out.
I looked better with dark hair and more of it.
Dr. Paul was about to retire and at the wedding party he asked me to be the pastor when he retired.

I had to make lunch. He was napping when I chatted earlier. He's out on his lawn tractor mowing the area he forgot last night. He rides his tractor and mows the front and sides while I mow the back then trim and push mower the back AND front.

The used to stick around near the nests for a bit each summer but a few would still come around until they could bring the whole family.
How about Monarchs? We used to have tons of them. We spread milkweed seeds everywhere. They'd go through the change hanging off our house.

@johnlharmon.bsky.social Chuck's brother-in-law lived in this house. It was the first hospital in Manistique, MI. It had a slide from the 3rd floor if there was a fire. The owner we knew had seen the ghost of a ship's captain and a boy at the top of the 2nd floor stairs.
