Pi's kindness and obstinacy made me want to cry, it was his faith in God that made him survive in the middle of the ocean, when Pi said to God that he surrendered and accepted what would happen to him, i shed tears, when Pi tried to help the tiger who struggled from seasickness, thirst and hunger, i shed tears, when Pi and the tiger are both dying after going through a storm, i shed tears, when Pi did not blame God for his fate that befell him and was grateful for the presence of the tiger sent by God to keep him alive, i shed tears, when Pi and the tiger parted ways without saying goodbye to each other, i shed tears, when Pi said that he loves the tiger–his survival buddy, i shed tears again and again, i felt so emotional, this film is so good! i'm amazed by how smart, tough and mentally strong Watney was when he was alone in Mars for months, he never gave up even though his physical condition was getting worse, i'm also amazed by his team who was willing to go back to Mars to pick him up, what a solid friendship, i'm also amazed by NASA and the US government with the way they treat their astronauts like treasure

so, the Japanese stranger is possessed by a demon and is orchestrated by the shaman to perform evil rituals, the shaman's rituals actually help the demon to possess the villagers, and the mysterious woman is a good spirit or deity trying to protect the villagers, thank you, Google i really love the color tone in this film, visually stunning with a dominant green and blue composition, giving a cold and gripping impression yet calming at the same time, it was so beautiful, not the mention the gothic vibes, and the Mia freaking Goth! she look gorgeous af, she was born for this kind of genre

a serial killer grown even more powerful after his death (by being powered by the lives of his 3 past victims) just to get revenge on a kid who killed him, wow, such a vengeful killer, btw, i love the fact that the siblings have different psychic abilities, the sister has visions, can see the ghosts and can interact with the ghosts' realm while the brother can't see the ghosts but can communicate with the ghosts through black phone so this evil entity called Jester lost his abilities just because a girl was able to read his magic card tricks, of course he was shocked by that unpredictable event, lol, it's like he found a rival or something, the ending was kinda mind-blowing, the girl had indeed ended Jester for good, but that meant she was the one who replaced Jester and continued his "duty" every year 🤯

when Sister Barnes rose from the dead to finish off Mr. Reed, it was definitely a miracle from Sister Paxton's pray, i felt ill and mentally exhausted watching this, not because it was bad, it was good actually, i felt uncomfortable, anxious and goosebumps while watching this film, not to mention their debates about religions, i started to think a bit when Mr. Reed said that God has a very fragile ego so that God only helps us when we ask and shower God with praises, i don't doubt my God at all, but i feel like what Mr. Reed said it's kinda true, it's crazy when i think about it, i don't want to have thoughts like that about my God, it feels wrong the theme is quite common, vampires, but it can be packaged into an interesting film to watch, man.. the ending was kinda sad, Stack keeps his promise to his twin brother that he won't touch Sammie and let his cousin live his life, his last visit to hear Sammie's blues song for the one last time before the oldman Sammie passes away broke my heart

i like the dramatic slow motion fight scenes, the way they visualize the women fighting and struggling while still looking attractive and stunning, the three women are so freaking beautiful and hot, the scene when the older sister died was sad dan heartbreaking, poor the younger sister, she was left alone, poor the older sister's boyfriend too every time Violet said "watch me" i got goosebumps, when Violet was in action, her fight scenes look as if she was dancing, it was mesmerizing, the only minus point is the low quality CGI which is understandable at that time

from the poster image i thought Akira was a girl, i also thought this was a GL movie, but i was wrong lol, btw, the climax was a bit confusing to me, if No.0 tried to defy orders by attacking her creator, doesn't that mean she was a failed product? as a viewer, seeing her almost kill Akira (his very own creator) made me conclude that she was a defective robot, her reasoning also sounded ridiculous, just wanted her creator to understand her so-called feelings? robots shouldn't be too emotional like that, imo she's dangerous istg the story in the first episode is similar to Blue Exorcist, a middle-aged man (human) who adopted a child who is not human (demon), then the father died cuz he protected the child who was about to be killed, and then the child awakened to become a powerful demon, but the DIFFERENCE is, in this anime, the demons are the protagonist, while the humans (more precisely, the descendants of Momotaro) are the antagonist, the main character's nature is also VERY boring, the type who can't listen well, temperamental, rash, stubborn, naive, man... there are too many main characters like this, boring, also, the manga creator seems to be obsessed with girls with big boobs and plump bodies smh

this film triggered my anger, the amount of violence and swearing uttered by many characters made me uncomfortable, this Jefri dude pissed me off, i even wished this temperamental kid would die, at first it was like that, until the plot twist at the end, i didn't expect the terrible tragedy related to the 1998 riots that befell Jefri's parents was what created this evil Jefri, i didn't expect that he was Edwin's long-lost nephew, his uncle whom he intended to kill with his own hands, and ended up die (accidentally) at the hands of his very own uncle, what a tragedy so, gowok is a profession to teach young men who are going to get married how to have sex that can satisfy their future wives on their first night, but with a spell that binds the two of them to become a faithful husband and wife and only death can separate them, plus men also get important positions in government or increase their nobility, well, that was so against religious teachings, fortunately the practice of gowok no longer exists

i didn't read either webtoon version or webnovel version, but Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (ORV) is quite famous among fujoshi (iykyk), so i quite enjoyed this live action movie version, i think the CGI wasn't too bad, the actors also did a good job despite "the big names" that were cast in this movie, to me, it was quite worth watching for entertainment giving birth in space while the spacecraft was struggling to avoid a black hole, a baby with cosmic powers who is said to be "the savior" of a weird giant alien who has a weird eating disorder (eat planets lmao), Mystique metal version with her surfboard, a plan to teleport a planet, Marvel seems to be forcing some new ideas that sound "wow" to beat the previous films, me thinks

honestly i'm not satisfied with the ending, my thoughts on the last episode were like "huh? that's it?" until the end, it's not explained what kind of creature this Nonuki-sama is, so it doesn't return to the mountain, then what? continue living as Hikaru forever while controlling its desire to take human souls? also, Yoshiki's attitude towards the new Hikaru is also somewhat contradictory, but despite that, the animation is so good, it's pleasing to my eyes the story is mid, the characters are mediocre and kinda slow (especially the two main characters), also, what the heck is wrong with some of the characters in this anime, they misjudged people just by their appearance, it's unwise and disrespectful

thank goodness jp dub is available, i'm not used to cn dub tbh, btw, sadly the 3D animation in this anime stopped at episode 7 as the series switched to a mostly 2D style, the conflict was quite heavy and complicated, some of the heroes' ambition to become X (rank 1 hero) was kinda too much, some of their past lives were dark and sad (hero Nice and hero Little Johnny for example), all the association leaders are problematic and have their own ambitions (mostly evil intentions), but beside that, all the soundtracks are banger!! imagine being a citizen in this anime, it would definitely not be fun having to always be on alert for evacuation and losing your home at any time, btw, Vice-Captain Hoshina my oshi is always cool! love this dude so bad

this Gojo dude is a perfectionist, an overthinker, an insecure unconfident self-deprecating person, his character is so bothersome this cute fluffy animal self-proclaimed to be a dog, but when i first saw it, i'm sure it's definitely a raccoon, the animation is pleasing to my eyes, so many cute things, cuteness overload ♡ Fuji has some similarities with me, i love rain too, i also don't like crowds and prefer to be by myself, i used to like reading (now i prefer watching), i also often think too much which actually makes things more difficult for myself

the animation seemed half-drawn (low budget perhaps), a lot of the fight scene details were ignored, for example: one of the death row who had mechanical spikes implanted in her body, every time she activated her ability, her clothes didn't leave any holes dunno why but i felt exhausted (mentally) watching this anime, all the characters are crazy, silly, some of them pissed me off, Okarun and Ayase are so dumb and annoying, i want to slap them so they can confess to each other, also, every time the main characters fought against too overpowered enemies, they look hopeless at first, but somehow can win in the end, it stressed me out so bad
