Been meaning to post a couple days back about my half price Christmas cactus I picked up last January....the pot it's in cost more then it! Looks like it's getting ready to flower (and it did) so I figured now I chronicle it's first impressive bloom!

On a positive note, I did make downtown to watch the hockey game without too much discomfort so I'm guessing my foot is likely not broken - despite the lasting impression it left on the drywall.....

Thoughts and prayers to those back in Louisville as UPS plane crashed on take off. Knew many UPS pilots back in my adult hockey days - hope none of them were on the plane. 🙏😢

looks like the center of the cyclone has made landfall on the Burin Peninsula. Nearby Sagona Island had earlier reported winds of 126 kmh with a gust at 154kmh (95 mph). This low was only 1015 mb just a little over 24 hours ago....talk about explosive cyclogenesis! #nlwx #bombcyclone

A new garage I tried out couldn't do a while you wait oil change.....no problem, toss the bike in the hatch and explore parts of town I haven't seen yet. Spent at least an hour circling around St John's Bowring Part - what a beauty especially with #fallcolors #newfoundland #nlwx
