I love this sooo much. Relatable problems are important! Not just saving the galaxy. It's like the bit in the movie Three Kings where they are trying to rescue their friend from Saddam Hussein's soldiers and one of them has to pause cuz he gets a splinter.

I know I sound exactly like annoying Linux bros when I say this, but I write in Notepad++ until late late late in the process, at which point I switch over to Word, and it's way better than dealing with Word's bull shit.
