I approach this topic with extreme skepticism. Most of what’s found online is hogwash and most reports are easily explained, or—at the very least—not anomalous.

But recently, discourse has shifted from the “I’m not saying it’s aliens” meme guy to navy pilots, intelligence officers, and journalists.

I haven’t played Stardew Valley but can confirm Animal Crossing is the exact opposite of social-media-doom-scrolling. It’s cute and joyful and I (personally) prefer ACNH’s art style to Stardew’s.

That said, I don’t think you could go wrong with either, and Stardew Valley is about 1/3 the price!
