Many parents budgets can't stretch to paying energy bills and for extra-curricular activities for their children. Lack of opportunities can limit children's future opportunities and limit social interaction with their peers.
November 26, 2025 at 3:03 PM
High energy bills have resulted in nearly a third of our clients having to cut back on their hot water usage. We believe that parents shouldn't have to worry about whether they can bathe their children. Support our #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay today.

Parents are being forced to cut back on essentials to try to afford their energy bills. This can lead to their children feeling stigmatised or bullied at school. Support our #FuelPovertyAwareness to help make a change for children.
November 26, 2025 at 2:30 PM
The fear of receiving the next energy bill leads to parents having to make tough decisions about how much energy they and their children use. Darker nights increase bills and risks of trips and falls if householders cannot afford to turn on the lights. #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay
November 26, 2025 at 2:15 PM
The cost of living crisis has had a huge impact on our clients. Parents and carers are unable to afford nutritious food for their children due to pressure of trying to pay their energy bills. Our #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay is vital in trying to highlight the plight of children living in fuel poverty.
November 26, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Energy debt is a huge issue for households with children. Across the UK, over £4 billion is owed to energy suppliers. Parents and carers simply can't keep up with sky high energy bills.

On our #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay, we're highlighting that almost 40% of our clients with children are unable to heat all the rooms in their home. We must work together to make sure no parent has to face this battle and that no one lives in a cold home.
November 26, 2025 at 1:15 PM
The high cost of energy bills makes it almost impossible for households to budget and keep the lights on. Today is our #FuelPovertyAwarenessDay and we're highlighting the need for targeted support so children don't ever have to worry about being warm and healthy at home.
