Wrapping gifts as a neurodivergent person? The tape, paper, and pressure to make it ‘perfect’ can feel overwhelming. Here are a few hacks to make it easier:

I was clearing out some old stuff of mine from the loft & came across a tea towel from my primary school days. As per instructions, we were asked to draw a picture of ourselves. I was the only one who followed the instructions correctly & drew myself in a picture complete with frame & hanging nail!

The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, will point blank not like you. But it is also filled with those who will love you fiercely. They are your people. You are not for everyone and that's OK. Talk to people who can hear you.

Maybe an unpopular opinion? but I don't agree with NT blaming. I recognise that many of our neurodivergent community are marginalised and treated badly by NT people, but I don't believe in stating that all NT people are abusive. Creating echo-chambers of hate will just breed hate. What do you think?

I'm loving designing the ND Affirmative Christmas Webinar but it has made me reflect on how little self-care supports are discussed specifically for our ND community this time of year. This needs to change! To sign up to this pay what you can webinar go to -

I am all about the stim. I have to literally hold my body still to stop myself stimming, I am always in constant movement in one way or another and now as an adult it's something I utterly embrace:

How does stimming help you?

What other sensory processing strategies do you use to regulate?

I meet so many NDers who struggle due to their integrity:

'Choosing courage over comfort; choosing what is right over what is fun, fast or easy; and choosing to practice our values rather than simply professing them' (Brene Brown).

Why is such an honorable characteristic deemed problematic?
