Hope you enjoy it. Whenever you feel like it, look at the expiermental flakes to expand NixOS a bit.

A bit yea. This is my system setup, forked from a flake based setup called ZaneyOS github.com/ndowens/reva... kinda shows you how it works

I like the experimental flakes.

I've been using #NixOS lately myself. I find it nice to be able to setup my system through either one file or modularized.

I remember you can set it to manual save session, which requires a plasma restart, but you can either save an empty session it would go to upon opening or you can save session with apps open that you want to always start.

:D I was trying to use cachyos' kernel, but I also use distrobox for some package dev stuff and well I'd get error regarding SElinux and not sure why. Linux-zen and standard kernel works. I looked at the kernel conf for cachyos and it has SElinux enabled to be available.

If you are using plasma, it may be saved in the start apps that were running before restart. I do not remember the name exactly, but is in the kde settings under session I believe it was. I'm on hyprland so I can't verify now.

gitea.artixlinux.org/ndowens/Reva... is the main file I use. In the flake.nix file, you need to add zen-browser.url = "github:0xc000022070/zen-browser-flake"; in the inputs field

Ah well I am using zen through flake and was going to share if you used flakes
March 28, 2025 at 10:14 PM
Do you use flakes?

Keep trimming hardware support, so maybe more will jump to the *nix world.

I say is games ready for Linux. Game is not worth it for me, if it doesn't play on Linux. I will not install Windows just to play it. Haven't had Windows installed for years now.
