So, here’s the sentence that would get me cancelled in the horror community if I had followers - Terrifier is now single-handedly the worst horror movie I’ve ever seen, and I’ll definitely not be watching the third one, the Christmas special, or anything else related to it ever.

It’s really rare for me to not find even one thing in a film funny, especially because I fucking cackled when that one guy was decapitated by scrap metal in Final Destination. THAT was comedy gold to me. But, I didn’t find one part of Terrifier enjoyable.

Now, I do think Art the Clown’s mannerisms were great, I see why people love him, but I legitimately did not laugh at any point during the first or second film. A huff out of the nose? Maybe.

But that really didn’t feel that with Terrifier. Now, I’ve heard of torture porn, I’m aware that it’s a problem with modern horror, but Terrifier is my first real experience with it. All the deaths are the same: over-the-top, gross-out, unrealistic but also too realistic at the same time

I’ve watched some really bad horror movies in my time (mostly the pg-13 Netflix exclusives like Slender Man, Ouija, and Tarot) but I’ve always found something to enjoy about them. Some of them have a death that sticks out or a joke that makes me laugh at some point or another..

Pretty sure the furbies are Carmilla, Zeezi, Zestial, Rosie, Maestro, Vox, Valentino, Velvette, Vivziepop herself, Niffty, Husk, Roo, and obviously Lu and Al on the bottom. Am I right?
