i think part of it was that Cal’s first assassination attempt and Maggie’s love of cheese fries were still very fresh in my mind. so to me, they were perfect breadcrumbs. but i can totally see how a periodic viewer wouldn’t remember the details.

imo i think that makes it a worse week-to-week watch but a better binge. as someone who watched the whole season over 2 days, the reveal was very satisfying to me.

no because Cal died not knowing that his father was proud of him and his son forgave him…

eight EXCELLENT hours of television. the writers knew how to write, the actors knew how to act, and the composer knew how to COMPOSE.
