It’s been 84 years… or so it feels like it since I last posted and/or picked up a project… Glad spring is around the corner because the past 2+ weeks in our house have been rough germ-wise. 3/4 of us were out for some or all of that time. We all recovered. But democracy is still dying. Back to work!

Spent the time between the bus stop and work attaching the next row of squares to A’s crochet blanket. On row 19 of 21. In the home stretch!! Can I finish by the end of the Pigskin Party on Monday?!? 🧶 #Crochet #ScrappyBlanket #ScrappyBlanketDiaries #DCSPigskinParty24

Yes I have approximately 1716381 ends to weave in. For now, this blanket is keeping me warm as I crochet the border for row 14 of 21. 🧶 I can totally finish this by the end of @bostonjen1.bsky.social ‘s Pigskin Party in two weeks, right?! #Crochet #ScrappyBlanket

One of my favorite parts of making these scrappy blankets is revisiting leftover yarns from past projects. Like this one that I purchased just a few days after we found out I was pregnant after 5+ years of infertility. It eventually became stripes in Z’s first Rhinebeck sweater 🧶 #Knitting #Crochet
