Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt hound control was atrocious today, dogs everywhere. Some were still missing at the end of the day. A couple were reportedly seen crossing the A30 several miles away from where they were boxing up at Stalbridge Park.

*Sound on* How blatant is this - Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt whip (no horse today?) hollering up the hunted fox that had just crossed the road. The huntsman then brought the hounds over to try and pick up the scent on the other side. Sabs ensured hounds failed to find it.

The Quantock Staghounds have been out today setting their dogs on hinds (female red deer) and their 5 month old calves. Sadly one calf will be without a mum now as they killed her when she got too close to a gunman lying in wait on a deer run. w/ @wlguardian.bsky.social

We have been told that the BSV have a Community Protection Warning in place following the killing of the Pelsham Farm Fox in December. Without doubt Avon and Somerset Police must at the very least escalate this to a full Community Protection Notice with far stricter conditions.

Video part 2 the fox is killed behind the fence. The kill happens out of sight but you can hear the unbearable noise. Terriermen then charge in grabbing body parts in front of the shocked resident. This could happen to ANYONE while the law allows packs of hounds to be let loose in the countryside!
