![A reference sheet for my sona "ND8-r", AKA Dice (they/them)!
Dice is a pink (interior/underbelly), black (exterior), white (chassis that encases their upper back and around their pectorals, alongside some waistline elements, elbow/knee shields, and sock-like ankle casing) and mint-green-accented (borders between pink & black) Synth who has been stylized to look crocodilian through their specific head/snout shape and added spines along their back and tail-top.
There is a diagonal-facing-front and diagonal-facing-rear view of Dice, alongside a diagonal-front view of their internal structural skeleton.
All exterior-black elements on this character are made of an alien hyper-durable flexible glass that acts as displays for Dice - this is exemplified best in how their eyes/eyebrows are shown on their facial screen, which extends down the back of their head and neck. Above this face is a pink cowlick "hair" swoop.
All pink elements on Dice are made of nanomachine-infused silicon-esque gel that essentially acts as a sentient slime and is ultimately the core sentience/entity that represents Dice - this is exemplified in the bottom-left corner by showing how Dice looks without their exterior black/white chassis elements and interior skeleton. This skeleton-less representation also details how Dice's goo is rendered fully, as a lightly-transparent & shiny substance that makes their internals typically lightly visible (as inspired by the transparent models of Game Boys).
Lastly, there are several speech bubble notations for various features of Dice, provided by a parody of Microsoft's Clippy mascot which has Dice's basic features and is dubbed 'Dippy' unofficially. Its notes are: "Including the chest piece, many parts are removable." , "Curved glass display" , "Newly added 'love handles' for [SAFETY] during [EXERCISES]" , "Interior skeleton redesigned for [FULL RANGE OF MOTION] and [SAFETY]", and one final note "Woogie." comes from the gel representation in the corner.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:3ddwwmtawzgcjogko4r4eb3a/bafkreic3nz4vfl7poiscdxkmnj2s3zhapfhh4kj4oqckovrwubyat754my@jpeg)
![This is the second page of the aforementioned refsheet. It contains three separate fashion/action poses, several expressions and detail views, and otherwise one more note from 'Dippy'.
The expressions and details shown create a border around the left and bottom sides of the image, and are, in order: Smug, 'Very Pleased', Happy/Joyous, Frustrated, Terrified, Sad/Confused. From then on, the detail views show dice's long mint-green tongue, the bottom of their foot (black ankle, pink frontal foot pads & toe pads, black toes, black toe nubs/claws), their palm (pink palm with a white border, black back of hand, black fingers, pink fingerpads, black finger nubs/claws), a flexing arm/bicep (muscled!), and the aforementioned back of Dice's hand.
The fashion poses are firstly Dice in a yellow ball cap, green cropped jacket, black bandeau (with their pecs poking out of the top of it), denim shorts with black double-ring belt, and bare feet - they are posing sassily, right hand on hip, left hand throwing up a candid attempt at a peace sign. Their face is "fashion-smug", for lack of a better term.
The second fashion pose has Dice in an oversized canvas/pastel-yellow button-down with their back turned to the camera while dancing all cool-like. The back of the shirt has a design with cursive text "Fresh Fruit" and some assorted fruit with it. The shirt is cut short and is floating up with Dice's motion, exposing the top of their backside and giving a peek at the waistline chassis piece. They are also wearing blue patchwork jeans with a small embroidered cherry on the bottom of the back of the right pant leg. Their expression is that kind of smile where you know you look good.
The final pose has dice clad in only an apron which covers their front/decency and a smile as they cook/toss fried rice in a wok.
