Have you tried an animal physiotherapist. They might help better. My sister takes her greyhound swimming to build up his muscles.

Yes I have but I still not able to make therapy work. Not sure if it is because of my experience or something to do with who I am

Thanks for writing this. I had a 7 year therapeutic relationship that went terribly wrong. 15 years later it still has a significant impact.
