My husband has memory loss. Caring for him is a privilege and a test. Can I be kind to him as he was to me? Can I be compassionate on the hard days? Can I choose to still see his simple goodness, his integrity, as his memory fades away? He may not remember our amazing life, but I do. Love endures. ❤️

My husband is cooking for the dogs.Buddy has seizures if he eats dog food. Randy is in the early stages of memory loss, so a lot more of the “work” of life is falling to me. That he was willing to give me a slow morning, and figured out what to do by himself, means everything! That’s love! 💙💙💙

In a month my 3 German grandchildren fly in with their parents for 2 weeks. It’s a welcome distraction from the shenanigans in TrumpWorld. Keep centered, be mindful but not fearful. Don’t let them steal your joy and peace. Enjoy every moment you can with the people you love the most. 💙
