Free time me: writing creative non-fiction and sci-fi, digitizing my grandmother's mid-century writing
Work me: software engineer, former journalist
It's been bugging me that the preview link on my first post about my grandmother's writings has her dates wrong, so I've started a new thread for her writings here:

Written by my granny, who died 14 years before I was born. I'm digitising her writings and putting them online as I've *loved* having a window into her world through her writing for the first time this year and hope some other people might enjoy it too.

I have read Doppelganger and liked it. I also used to have an instant message group at work dedicated to forwarding messages to other Naomis we'd received in error, and to this day I occasionally need to forward emails to the actress Naomi Christie when they land in my inbox.

I have many thoughts about waiting lists. The first one is - presume the nursery doesn't really have one and just call or visit them at regular intervals to find out if there's a space going. Happy to share my many other observations on childcare if you'd like.

I'd do it with a vlookup. ChatGPT (or any other GenAI) can tell you the details on how or StackOverflow if you're oldschool.
