Formula E in all the socials: "Look it's dark and moody. So provocative and mysterious!"

Formula E on a singular tiktok:

It's a really bad version of Bahrain T1-T3 so I would simply just properly copy Bahrain and turn it into a harder breaking spot.

If this was WEC or Formula E, Race director would have said the reason over the radio and it would have been clear to all.

I do not understand how that kind of communication isn't in F1.

Directors now appointed from existing Morecambe staff.

Will have to wait and see if the same thing as July happens again and they are unappointed just as quickly.

The default position is it becomes a public park if there is no form of Morecambe FC.

The stadium and land is held within a trust created in 1927 by our founder. The club has a rent-free leaseback of the Trust land for 125 years. The lease stipulates that the land can only be used for football and associated commercial activities.

As such it has no alternative development value.

Peak F1 if they clash with both Le Mans AND the Indy500 next year.

(They have only stated that Canadian GP will be either 3rd or 4th week of May. Could easily have it directly clash with Indy.)

The Porsche boys have commendably given it their best.

They made a late change this morning to the sporting notes in being allowed to run over some of the previous teams pit markings which should hopefully make it a tad better for drivers.

I don't like the current F1 racing rules and how it dictates racing but even if the rules were written as such that Piastri did push him off the track...Max still left the track and gained an advantage.

Just because you are pushed shouldn't mean you are entitled to any advantage gained off track.

There is a 4 page document going through all the amendments to the sporting regs that had to be made solely because of the pit wall.

Can understand why at Portland they insisted on installing a temp one (Which of course they only used once before leaving...)

Given the fairly long list of amendments required to the sporting regs just for this weekend (due to the US style pit wall in place), I can't imagine it will last at Homestead.

They may try and get Homestead to switch the wall for a temp one like in Portland when it redevelops after the race.

It really doesn't satisfy anyone.

This doesn't fill the calendar gap for current fans as the session isn't being broadcast (20 mins of 1 car on track, 15 minute break, repeat 11 times ain't great viewing).

And I don't think there is enough time for meaningful content creation to reach new ones.

Oh yeah, also CCTV will be in operation to make sure the cars are stationary at its allocated pit stop position with no part of the contact patch of its tyres outside of the white lines (front, rear and sides) at the time of the Pit Boost.

Any breach will be reported to the stewards

And in addition from the Driver Briefing Notes, you can yield the place back on track but not by taking Attack Mode to do so:
February 14, 2025 at 4:24 PM
An additional factor you won't have seen as it is from a sporting note to the teams but pit lane priority is fundamentally different compared to say F1.
A car in the fast lane has priority and unless you come out entirely ahead you have to fall behind them.

I noticed during the broadcast for FE Quali that ITV were applying a manual blur over the QR code used for FE Predictor Live.

Is there a reason ITV have to do this? It doesn't affect me, just curious as to why from a broadcast stand point.
