I almost stepped on this little fellow this morning until my conscious asked WWATD (What Would Adrian Tchaikovsky Do). My first thought was adoption. But then I realized without the spider's consent that would be an abduction. So I ultimately just left it be. #WWATD @aptshadow.bsky.social

I would like to thank both @pdjeliclark.bsky.social and @hntdove.bsky.social for reassuring me that alt-history is still worth engaging with. It's representation online has a fascist cancer afflicting it and both of their excellent work and posts serve as a reminder of how good the genre can be.

I think many of society's current problems come down to the fear of admitting you're wrong vastly outweighing the fear of being wrong.
It takes only a small amount of integrity to admit mistakes and yet that act seems to become increasingly rare.
