The final owners of King’s Mill weren’t the Kings: they were an African American couple named Henderson and Cornelia Oldham who had once been sharecroppers at Mason Farm.

Well, that didn't last long! Update to the update: following UNC's adverse weather guidance, our main garden will remain closed all day today (Wednesday 1/22). We now expect to open at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday 1/23) but will post additional updates if that changes!
