Congratulations to @uvmark.bsky.social who has been appointed as co-lead of the dermatology theme at the @nihr.bsky.social Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. As he says, skin diseases & complex wounds are among the most common, chronic & quality-of-life-reducing conditions in the UK.
Research colleagues Danyal & Portia had a brilliant time at Oldham 6th Form College, sharing information about routes into research careers. They also offered the opportunity to take part in research on the spot, with students of Bangladeshi and Pakistani heritage able to join @genesandhealth
