Last stick sparring session in the books. Regional tournament this Saturday (11/15) is going to be fantastic, meeting new people and reconnecting with others. Great job Josh Price and Tarrah this evening. You both are killing it!

Great evening live stick sparring with Josh Price and Tarrah using both solo olisi and doble olisi for one minute rounds. They did a total 6 rounds each. Today's intensity is pushing them to be ready for November 15th regional competition. Great job to everyone!

Had a great class with Aaron Gidley. He is looking to pick up Kenpo again after a hiatus. Good to see him getting back into the art and reviewing where he has come.

Great class working with Josh Price continuing to refine and review purple belt material along with orange belt curriculum. Josh has been working hard to build proficiency alongside stick fighting!

Great bag work session last evening with Josh Price and Tarrah. Working on "feeling" the patterns and using mechanics to get the most out of each strike. Looking forward to working with Tim Mills and some other local fighters as Regionals approach.

Great workout with Josh Price today covering all forms and sets leading up to material for purple belt. Worked two techniques today - Cross of Destruction and Flight to Freedom, Kilop hands and Sequoia. Reviewed a number of sparring combinations. Fantastic review interleaved with current material!

Another live stick fighting training session in the books for the upcoming Regionals tournament on November 15th. Josh Price and Tarrah are doing phenomenal. We worked double stick fighting this evening focusing on footwork and targeting. Two broken sticks tonight! Just about 7 weeks away!

To all practicing for the upcoming Colorado Regionals live stick fighting tournament. It will be held November 15th for participants. Josh and Tarrah will be gearing up (figuratively and literally) for the event. Next week while visiting CU boulder i should here about the venue.

Got another great training session of curriculum and stick fighting from Sifu Tim Mills today. It is always a pleasure to learn from him, especially when he pulls out another trick or two to learn.

Another 90 minute training session with Josh Price and Tarrah Ellingson Hall continuing to improve and get stick fighting time this morning. Lots of basics -- bagwork, footwork, and jump-rope. Then some single and double stick rounds practicing those drills with sit-ups for core strengthening.

Regular lessons resume tomorrow (9/4) and live stick sparring practice is scheduled for tomorrow (9/4) at 6pm and Sunday (9/7) at 9am. Looking forward to seeing the group to get training
