I can only add that it's a worse situation with programming. There's too many enthusiasts and too few people that acknowledge the idiocy of trusting a mostly-inaccurate consultant when any inaccuracy is a potential crash bug.

It's not helpful to generalize. You can get stuck in seclusion for opposite or unrelated reasons just as easily.

What was not pleasant is to suffer an embarrassing defeat live on stream gazillion times in a row, but we still landed 3rd place out of 7 teams and I got expensive headphones out of this. 😛
