Philly, urbanism, bikes, Arsenal, anti-fascism, public health
This would be amazing. Sadly I don’t think our elected are nearly imaginative enough.

I read this too quickly and had understood “Blade (2005)” and was confirmed when I read to the end.

Philly checking in and, uh, yes.

I wanted to go to this place but they had one of those “trump good, Kamala bad” posters in their window and this was like two weeks after the election.

I use mine much more than my regular oven. The temperature control is great.

I read that whole thing and aside from “cut costs” I’m not sure there was anything tangible in it. Seems like grievance-driven thing, which is on-brand I guess

Congratulations city council and the mayor. You made the city much worse for no reason.

Increasing the population in our cities by removing restrictions to new housing and making them less car-centric to attract people would help too. 2030 census and reappropriating is not looking for dems

“A young 74, cancer notwithstanding” wtf kind of thing is that to say.

I’ve seen my neighbor DoorDash a single bubble tea from a place that is 4 min walk from us. I agree with all these points but idk what you do about this.
December 12, 2024 at 3:30 PM
I haven’t been here long but see this everywhere. The monthly meetings of my civic are just imbued with this false-based approach to everything.

I agree and think Barry was getting there when Troy cut him off and started talking about “respect” and they (strangely) invoked a recent anti-Islamophobia campaign.
December 8, 2024 at 2:34 PM
I agree. Has anyone asked those players what those “reasons” actually are? I thought trying to reframe it around “respect” was just to avoid the convo that those players probably have bigoted views.

We liked it so much we binged the whole thing. It sent me on search to learn more about The Troubles (current events may have something to do with that too), so I'll have to check the book out.

The person I talked to was aware of the problem and said they were discussing additional parking behind the elevators. The deck and building are owned by the company that owns the gym.

I emailed the GM about it and he called to discuss. Let ‘em know

Congrats Baz!

The most insidious part of p2025 if you read it closely is the way they talk about “capture” of the contract and legal parts of the agencies. These are the people who deal with writing the RFPs for govt goods and services. The scope for corruption is bigger than most suspect
November 15, 2024 at 1:29 PM
Watch for contracts going to “analytics” companies with ties to Theil and Elon. I predict they will be used to churn through a lot of data, make specious findings that cause a lot of people a lot of problems. I suspect this is how the “denaturalization” push will begin.

What’s your take on the possibility of violence in a scenario 2 where this administration decides it won’t “let” states do what they want. Trump said something about nat’l guard from red states going to blue to enforce immigration pograms (I think)
